This past weekend Matt and I got to take a little road trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas for our friend Adam's wedding. Nana and Poppy came to Miami to stay with Kate and Ryan, so we got up Saturday morning and headed out. We made it a whopping 20 minutes down the road to Joplin, where we stopped at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I really love to stop and eat/shop there, but we're usually in such a hurry when we're on the road that we don't have time to stop, so this was a special treat.
We had a little free time Saturday afternoon before the wedding, so we drove down to the downtown area to have a snack, walk around, and check out some of the shops. It was a beautiful day and such a cute area - I really want to go back some day when we have more time to explore!
The wedding was Saturday evening at the Fayetteville Air Museum. The weather could not have been more beautiful for an outdoor ceremony.
The whole event was SO creative and fun. Rachel used so many adorable personal touches throughout the ceremony and reception - it was impressive!
We had a BLAST hanging out with lots of fun friends that Matt grew up with and their sweet wives. The reception was so much fun with lots of good food, drink, conversation and games (yes, games). And yet, once again, here's my one photo of the night, me and Kadilynn Hourigan hangin' at the reception. We even had a large group meet up for brunch on Sunday morning and yet, I am without the photographic proof - you'll just have to take my word for it!
