We had a busy Easter weekend here at the Mills house. Here's a little update on what we were up to...
We started off Good Friday with a girls' day up in Joplin. Matt and Ryan went to Bartlesville for a boys' lunch with several of Matt's friends, so Miss K and I were on our own. We did some shopping and then stopped for a lunch date at Maria's. It was deliciosa, as always!
After lunch, we did some shopping at the mall and then made a stop at the Spider Jump. Kate LOVES to go here. She's been working on trying to flip in mid-air the past 3 times we've been and Friday she finally figured it out!
Saturday morning we made Resurrection Rolls. The kids love making these and the past few years, we've made them on Easter morning. I finally figured out this year that Easter morning is too crazy with getting everyone dressed, starting Easter lunch, and me singing in our church program, so I wised up and decided to make them on Saturday instead.
We had a super yummy lunch on Saturday with Grammie and Papa and then headed out to Ryan's T-ball practice. The weather was beautiful and it was fun to see bubba in action.
Later in the afternoon, the girls made a quick trip to Sandstone Garden to shop a little bit. This was K's first trip here and she was so excited to go (she even bought her little purse with her).
We finished up the day by dying Easter eggs.
On Resurrection Sunday, the kids were super excited to see what the Easter bunny left them in their baskets before heading off to church.
After a lovely lunch we had a little egg hunt in the front yard. We finished just in time as it started to sprinkle rain.
