20 weeks

Today is 20 weeks into our pregnancy, and now we are over 1/2 way finished. Its hard to believe how fast time flies. We have been taking a pic of the belly every 4 weeks to keep track of how fast the babies are growing. The first pic is 12 weeks, the next is 16 weeks, and the last we just took today is 20 weeks. It's wild how quickly they are growing and we still have a ways to go until 36 weeks.

Back from our babymoon!

Matt and I went on our babymoon (the last mommy/daddy trip before the babies come) this weekend. We went to Frisco, TX (north of Dallas) and had a wonderful time. Not only did we see 2 sets of triplets hanging out at the pool, but we also got to go to the furniture meca, IKEA, and found a shelf for the babies' room as well.

The trip was really nice and we were happy to visit with my Uncle Mark, Aunt Jana, and their kids. We also received maybe the best twins advice yet from my cousin Cade's 10 year old friend Noah, who is a twin himself. When asked if he liked being a twin, he gave the very heartfelt response of "Well, it has it's ups and downs."

Getting ready...

We spent all day today working on turning our former office into our new office/guest room. After some encouragement from Nana, we decided today would be a good day to finally get EVERYTHING out of the nursery that was not baby stuff and re-arrange furntiure so we still have a place for people to come visit and help us out when the babies get here (help that will be much appreciated and needed). It took the whole day, but I'm pretty pleased with what we have accomplished.
As for the animals, they seem to be adjusting well to all of the changes. Toby spent the whole day sitting in front of the office door meowing (his old stomping ground). Bella has been having a rough time lately with all of the storms. Above you will see what she did when the last one rolled through town.

18 weeks Dr visit

We went to see Dr K today for our 18 weeks appointment. Got to hear 2 strong heart beats, which was very exciting. No ultrasound today, but we will go back at 22 weeks for our big ultrasound. Hopefully, at that appointment we will find out the genders of these 2 little ones. Cousin Cori has changed her mind and now thinks we have "1 boy and 1 gull."
