Grand Country!!!

 This past week we were able to take a little family vacation to Grand Country Inn in Branson.  We go to Branson every summer with Matt's family and always finish our trip with breakfast at the Grand Country buffet.  We have wanted to come up and stay at Grand Country for awhile now, so when we found a great deal on groupon, we decided to give it a try.  Our package deal included 4 tickets to a show, popcorn and drinks.  We went to the Amazing Pets show first thing when we got there.  The kids LOVED it!

 The main reason we wanted to stay here was the indoor water park!  It was SO much fun!  The crowds were not too bad and the kids were able to do pretty much all of the activities.  Their favorites were the water slide and the "hot" tub (basically just a warm pool for kids)

 so much that she had to lay in mama's lap at dinner (but still managed to enjoy some chips and salsa, of course!)

 The next morning, we went to Krispy Kreme for breakfast.  This was my first time in Krispy Kreme and boy, were those hot doughnuts yummy!  Ryan wore his new Iron Man pj's that he picked out at the Disney Store the night before.

 Ryan and Kate really enjoyed watching the doughnuts go through the conveyor belt.

We finished up our trip with another visit to the water park and then lunch down at Branson Landing.  What a fun little family vacation we had - we will definitely go back!

May Madness

 So far this May, we've been pretty busy bees here at the Mills house.  We've been to many a T-ball game to cheer on the Red Sox.

I love this picture of Kate, as it captures her entire personality.  She just "loves life" as Matt always says.

We went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Tulsa one evening.  We hadn't been there with Kate and Ryan since they were really small, so this was their first time to have cheesecake.  Kate wasn't totally sure why someone would put cheese on a cake, but she ended up really enjoying the S'mores cheesecake we shared.

We also made a quick trip to Stillwater.  How surprised cousin Cori was when we picked her up a school!  It was a nice warm day, so we went to Sonic for happy hour slushes and then to the park to play.

And this little Super Man conned his sweet Mom-Mom into buying him a Donatello stick that he's been wanting forever.  He's making his super hero face here, and when he looked back at the picture he told me "Oh, I look like an angry turtle!"

 T-ball has been in full swing around the Mills' house.  We've had some rather chilly games in the last week, but still such fun to watch Ryan play!

 For one of our summer time activities, I bought a package of goo bath at the Dollar Tree.  To make it, you simply add lukewarm water to the powdered "goo."  We weren't really sure what to expect, but it was pretty fun!

 Ryan said it felt like apple sauce (a pretty good comparison, I thought).  I was a little concerned it might turn the tub all red, but there was a second pack included that dissolved the goo and it washed right down the drain.  No stains at all! 

What a great way to spend an hour on a rainy day for the low price of one dollar!!!

Opening Day and Mother's Day

 This Saturday was Opening Day for T-Ball.  Ryan was super excited to finally play in his first T-Ball game.  Matt's parents and brother and his family got to come for the weekend and go to the game with us too.

 After the game everyone came back to the house for lunch.  We ordered Ryan a special cake to celebrate his very first T-Ball game and served it up with chocolate ice cream with M&M's mixed in (Ryan's pick!)

We finished up our weekend celebrating Mother's Day on Sunday.  I am SO blessed to be the mama of these beautiful babies.

school's out for summer!

 Last Tuesday was our last day of NEO Lab School.  We wanted to get a little end of year gift for Miss Charlene, so I bought this tumbler and added a print out from Pinterest "Thank you for quenching our thirst for knowledge"  We also added lemonade and Crystal Light packets inside.

 After our last day of school, I told Kate and Ryan we could go out for lunch to celebrate.  They picked Arby's.
