field trip

 There was no school last Friday, so Kate, Ryan, Grammie, Nana, and I enjoyed a field trip to the OKC Zoo.  Matt couldn't go with us, but he did fix up the wagon with the canopy before we left.  The canopy worked great and was nice to have when the sun finally came out!

 Ryan and Kate had a blast on the carousel.  This was their first time riding the one at the zoo and they loved it!

We had such a fun day with our Grammie and Nana - thanks for making it a super special day!

 This weekend, we filled up our turtle with sand.  This is our first year to have the sandbox (last year we used the turtle as a pool) and the babies enjoyed it very much!

Oddly enough, Katie was more interested in the sand than Ryan.  Not quite sure what to make of that...isn't it all little boys' dream to play in the dirt?  Hopefully, we will be enjoying this activity for awhile - at the rate they are throwing out sand, we may be to the bottom of the turtle before too long!
