snow day

 School was canceled on Monday, so the babies and I enjoyed a little extra sleep and a lazy breakfast.  We then bundled up, Kate and Ryan in their snow suits from Meemaw and me in my sweats and headed out front to play.

 We drug out the sleds that Nana and Poppy got us for Christmas and I got my exercise for the morning running laps around the yard dragging the sled behind me.  They were really pretty easy to pull, and the babies thought it was great fun!

 They had fun, but we were ready to go in before too long.

When we got inside, we had to have a little bit of warm chocolate of course!  When Matt got home from work, they bundled up again and went outside to build mini-snowmen.  The snow didn't stick around long, but it was a fun day to be at home.

date night

 Tonight was date night at the Mills house.  Matt and Kate went to "Dancing with Daddy" at the Community Center (along with Uncle Justin and Cousin CoCo).  They had a blast and danced the night away.  Kate came home telling me she ate a cupcake and dance "like dis" while doing the chicken dance.

Bubba and I went to play at Chick-fil-a (his choice) and then got ice cream at Braum's.  He enjoyed his "chot-a-lit" ice cream very much and didn't spill a drop all the way home.  He even gave his mama a kiss, even though it was our first date - such a sweet big boy!
