This year my sweet mama turned the big 6-0! We decided back in January (before we knew about our big move to Miami) that we wanted to take a girls trip for mom's July birthday, and we couldn't think of any better place to relax than at my Aunt Becki's house in Arizona! My mom's friend Teresa also made the trip with us, and we had a BLAST! Now everyone kept asking "Why are you going to Phoenix in July? It's SO HOT!!!" But I just kept reminding those people that we are mall dwellers, and it's always nice and cool in there!

So everyday we shopped, had a nice lunch, shopped some more, had a lovely dinner, and then spent the evening visiting with my aunt and her family. It was a pretty perfect trip. I always enjoy spending time with my Aunt Becki. She is such a cool lady and has always given the best advice and lent a listening ear. I am so blessed to have this awesome Christian lady in my life!
Kate and Ryan stayed home with Matt and went to visit Nana and Poppy in Edmond. They had a great time, of course! I had to include a pic of this little guy in the Diamondbacks shirt and hat that my aunt sent him. He LOVES them so much and has been wearing the shirt every other day (when not in the wash) and the hat pretty much all the time. Such a sweet little guy!
