Matt and I were off on this past Monday because we had our friends Dan and Kadilyn Hourigan's wedding to attend in Bartlesville on Sunday. The trip back to Matt's hometown was a lot of fun. We had a great time catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and having everyone meet Kate and Ryan for the first time. We were busy having such a good time in fact, that there are about 3 pictures from the entire weekend! However, since we were off on Monday and it was such a beautiful day (finally no rain and low humidity!) we decided to take the babies down to Theta Pond on campus. It was really nice since school is out right now, and it was not crowded at all. Ryan and Kate enjoyed looking at the ducks and geese and Matt and I enjoyed showing them around our old stomping ground a bit. There is a famed Bell family story of my parents taking me to that very same place as a toddler when I was gazing down into the water and started to go in. My dad swiftly grabbed me by the back of my overalls and pulled me back to safety. Thankfully, there were no incidents of that sort when we went to visit, and everyone had a great day!
