Saturday was the Elmo Show (aka Sesame Street Live!) in OKC, and boy were these Elmo fans excited! Matt and I both got to go to Sesame Street Live when we were little (back in the pre-Elmo era) so we were really excited to get to go with Kate and Ryan.
There was a cool play area that they had set up outside the show were we could take pictures with the cut outs of the characters before the show and at intermission.
We had the perfect seats for us - right behind a concrete barrier, so the kids could stand up and dance around but not be up in someone's face.
The theme of this year's show was "Music is Everywhere" which is perfect for us because Ryan and Kate are really into playing their instruments and singing right now.
I could not believe how much fun the babies had! They sang and danced from the start until intermission. When we went upstairs to stretch our legs, Ryan kept saying "need to go back to see band." Guess he was worried he might miss something! After the show, we had no sooner buckled the babies into their seats than Ryan was telling us "I miss Elmo already" and Katie was asking to "go back to Elmo show." They are already saving up their piggy bank money to go back next year!
